(L to R) Dazzling Plum, Coral Crush, 918D, 12.
This first color is Dazzling Plum by Maybelline. It applies on incredibly smoothly. It is advertised to be very sparkly, almost like a lipgloss, but it definitely isn't. Also the color was very dark on the tube and on my hand, but on my lips is more of a brown. I still like the color, it's just not what I was expecting. However, I really like the formula and how moisturizing and light it feels on the lips.
Ok, so I know coral is a summer lip color, but I still love it! This is Coral Crush by Maybelline. The formula is very similar to Dazzling Plum, but more opaque. It's more of a pink coral. It is somewhat long lasting.
This next coral color is #12 from the Kate Moss Rimmel London collection. It's very very creamy and opaque. It is ver heavy on the lips and seems to dry out my lips. However, it is a very long lasting color but can rub off easily. This is more of an orangey coral. I love the color, I just wish the formula was a bit different.
Ok, so my lips look very dry in this photo, but I had just applied and removed a few lippies before. This does not dry out my lips. This color is 918d from Wet n Wild. I LOVE this color! Definitely going to be my go to lipstick this fall. Also this is so cheap! It was only $2.99 at Rite Aid. I definitely suggest exfoliating your lips before applying because the dry bits of skin will stand out. The only thing I dislike about this lipstick is the shape. It's very impractical for application, especially because it does run a bit and is very noticeable if the lines aren't perfect. I just apply it with a lip brush and it works. It's VERY dark (the color below is the true color) I like using the lip brush because it is a bit more sheer. This is basically like a lip stain and is very long lasting. Also, I love how it makes my teeth look very white!
Next I want to get a nice nude color! If anyone has any suggestions let me know :)
